EV Charging Station Electrical Installation Design
We offer comprehensive electrical installation design necessary for the legal and safe installation of electric vehicle charging stations. The design is prepared by certified designers with many years of experience in the electromobility industry.
The scope of the project includes:
- Selection of charging station power and type to suit the existing installation
- Design of the cable route from the distribution board to the charging point
- Selection of protective devices — fuses, RCDs, miniature circuit breakers
- Electrical diagram compliant with standards and DSO requirements
- Technical documentation for notification or building permit
- Agreements with the Distribution System Operator (DSO)
A project is required for:
- Installation of a charging station in a multi-family building or community
- Connecting a station above 11 kW
- Implementation of a corporate or parking investment
- Applying for subsidies from the "Mój Prąd" program

Station type
Specifies where and how the station is mounted and what its purpose is.
- Wallbox (wall-mounted) — mounted directly on the wall, ideal for a garage or parking space
- Freestanding post — mounted on a dedicated post, e.g., outside a building or in a parking lot
- Portable — mobile charger, can be plugged into a standard socket or a reinforced circuit
- Public station — designed for use by many users, e.g., in commercial car parks
Charging level
Determines the speed and type of electric vehicle charging.
- Level 1 (AC 230V) — slow charging via a standard household socket, up to 2.3 kW
- Level 2 (AC 400V) — faster home or business charging, from 3.6 kW to 22 kW — the most popular choice
- Level 3 (DC) — fast direct current charging from 50 kW upwards, charges a car to 80% in 20–40 minutes

- Three-phase 11 kW (3×16A) — faster charging, requires a three-phase connection, a good choice for home and business
- Three-phase 22 kW (3×32A) — maximum AC power, for heavily used vehicles and fleets
- DC (direct current) — from 50 kW, fastest charging, requires specialized installation

How to pass an electromobility audit?
An electromobility audit requires an assessment of a building's electrical installation. Our team will help you through the entire process — from technical assessment to selecting the appropriate charging station.
Can the housing community forbid me from installing a charging station?
The community cannot completely prohibit installation, but it may require consent. We assist in preparing documentation and communicating with the community.
How quickly can I charge my car with a Wallbox?
Charging time depends on the model of the charging station and battery capacity. A 7.4 kW station will charge most electric cars in 6–8 hours, while a 22 kW station can do it in as little as 2–3 hours.
Who can install a charging station?
Installation may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. Wallbox cooperates with certified installers throughout Poland – we can recommend a specialist in your area.
Does the charging station work in all weather conditions?
Yes – our stations are IP54/IP65 certified, which means full protection against rain, snow and dust. They operate flawlessly all year round.
