Do I need a building permit?
A car shelter up to 35 sq m only requires a notification to the authority — not a building permit. ARINEA prepares the notification documentation as part of the design.
Is a solar carport worth it without rooftop panels?
Yes — the carport can be the only solar installation. The carport roof is ideally angled for modules and generates energy without using any roof space on the building.
Can I get a subsidy?
Yes. A carport with solar and a wallbox may qualify for the My Electricity 6.0 programme (up to 1,400 PLN for a wallbox) and solar subsidies. ARINEA will prepare the required documentation.
How much energy does a solar carport produce?
A 6 kWp carport produces approx. 5,500-6,500 kWh per year in Poland. At an average EV consumption of 18 kWh/100 km — that is the equivalent of approx. 33,000 km of free driving every year.
How long does delivery take?
From first contact to commissioning — typically 3-6 weeks. Design and quote within 24h, documentation 1-2 weeks, installation 2-4 working days.
What warranty is provided?
Solar panels — 25-year manufacturer power warranty. Inverter — 10 years. Aluminium structure — 10 years against corrosion. Wallbox — 2-3 years with extension option.
